Craigmore Plantations (India) Private Limited. owns and manages approximately 1200 hectares of plantations in the Nilgiri Hills in South India.

Nestled in the Nilgiris, at an elevation of approximately 5500 feet, the mix of soil and climate provides ideal conditions for production of some of the world's finest teas.

The company produces approximately 2 million kgs of top quality High Grown Orthodox Black tea and High Grown pan fired Green teas. 

The group has two factories, which are designed for optimal workflow and equipped with state of the art tea manufacturing machinery, automation technology and systems that ensure the highest standards of production.

Craigmore Factory

The Craigmore Factory manufactures High Grown Orthodox Black teas. Current manufacturing capacity is approximately 1.3 million kgs, which can be scaled up to meet increased future requirements. Currently, in excess of 0.75 million kgs of our annual production is exported to the European Union and as such all teas produced at this factory meet the stringent European Union compliance standards including Pesticide Residue Limits (MRL).

 

Pascoe's Woodlands Factory

The Pascoe’s Woodlands Factory produces High Grown pan fired Green teas and currently has a manufacturing capacity of approximately 0.7 million Kgs per annum. 

The pan fired Green teas produced at Pascoe’s Woodlands Factory have been found to contain far higher levels of Polyphenols and EGCG and as a result the health benefits derived of consuming this Green tea is far higher than that of steamed Green tea. Close to 40% of its annual production of Green tea is exported to the European Union and all Green tea produced comply with the stringent European Union standards including Pesticide Residue Limits(MRL).
